M1436 Leaf from a Book of Hours, Paris, c. 1450.  A single leaf from a Book of Hours, in Latin, on vellum.  1/4 floral border of flowers, leaves, and fronds in tempera and liquid gold.  Versal initials in gold leaf on a ground of lapis with white tracery.  Two-line initial "D" opens Psalm 7, "Domine deus meus…" (O Lord my God, in Thee do I trust….)  Size: 6 1/4 x 4 3/4 in.  Mat size: 14 x 11 in.
